Are you heading near Louth? Say hello to my mum but you may need to arm yourself.

Nowhere near Louth, as far as I know!!
I'm staying in ashford, near wicklow, and some other relatives live in rathdrum... There are more dotted around!
I'm drinking Guinness in Phil healeys pub in wicklow now, on the free wifi...while the bloke rou d the corner fits a new bottom bracket for me... The other one died!Ahhhhh...... Guinness! It's food and drink in one!
I've ridden along some beaches today, as well as soaking up the sights, sounds and smells.

How did the bloke die?
That is both funny and a little inappropriate given the reason for the trip!

Just be careful you don't drink too much guinness, especially if you're wearing bibs the next morning.
But yeah, Wicklow's hill central, but it's really scenic and the locals are fairly bang on.

Spent a bit of time in the rugby club in wicklow.... Once again, good Guinness. I have to officially taste it!
The joke was funny by the way.... No offence taken :0)I'm staying in my cousins lovely house that he designed and built himself.... Pics later :0)
About 55 miles covered yesterday, all uphill it seems! -

Another 50 ish yesterday... I can feel the hills in the legs now.... This is where some pain came from
I rode miles along the beech, only to not be able to get off where I ended up, so turned round and went back the other way further! It was very pleasant though.....
I'll write a proper report when I'm back, as Internet is sporadic!
Just at euston, about to pop to Ireland for a few days with the bike.... Rail ferry special for £88 return!
There is a bit of business involved, in that I have to sort out a couple of my father's bits of his estate.... He passed away just before Christmas, and we are still sorting things out, bless him :0)
The plan is get to Dublin port, ride 40 ish miles to my relatives, sort out the bits tomorrow, then spend the rest of Friday, Saturday and Sunday, going to see various relatives...... One of which runs a proper pub! Guinness will be my main source of food, I think.
Updates as and when, etc
