If no one gets my last shot soon I'll 'redact' it and put another up so we can get going again. It's no fun when they aren't coming thick and fast.

Aaaaaaah, see I googled Laurel and Hardy, but never went as far as thinking Stan Laurel, clever Jules, clever. Still, glad that one's out of the way so we can get back to some quick tagging.

Hi vickstein, welcome to the Norwich forum! Liking the bike, what is it?
By the way, did you find a nexus in the end?
-
• #139
The bike is a bit of a mystery, it was a geared bike once upon a time. The guy I bought it from said it's Deda tubing but to be honest it could be anything! It's light and quick though so does the job.
Oh, I didn't end up getting a Nexus, I bought a laptop instead! -

2 days and nothing going on! Am i allowed to ask for a clue yet?
-
• #141
I've just given up now, I've known maybe two of these?
-
• #142
People aren't really giving clues when they post, are they? A little cryptic hint never hurt anyone.

I thought mine might be landmark enough to be recognisable?
Ah well, here's yer clue: it might be too dark to see Canaries from here. -

Trying to work out what frame this is - looks a Classic. -
• #149
It's a 1951 R O Harrison road/track frame as far as I am aware.
It was an unknown frame when I bought it. The frame number matches the R O harrison format, 213325 948, the fork no is different OR1072 948. I presume 948 is the enamellers number.
I think it may be a converted road frame, when I stripped it down I noticed brazing marks where the gear, brake cable and pump lugs should be. -

Is the road that it's off an anagram of "local whirr"?
^ Heh.
