It's 8speed. As for the tubing, pretty sure it's columbus.
This brand was known for using columbus. But will try to find out what type this weekend. But anyway, it's a very good price, and with a few minor changes it will be a nice and good bike again.
@ Chris thanks :) And I know about the confusion, should have put in the title that it's the Italian brand, not the english Halfords.
