I can testify to this. Strangely enough cycling home after several pints of Old Rosie result in me snapping one of my Campag clips clean off. With plastic clips it would never have happened.
Also without cider it would never have happened.
So the lesson is if you're going to drink a lot of scrumpy, make sure you have plastic clips.
I think that's the lesson anyway.
