Dakin, I saw that go by on the King of Hearts fb page last night and immediately thought of you, but you'd said it was a couple of weeks before it was going on. Looks really great :)
finally got them to upload, we got the outline done, after much stencilling and alcohol, (and not the drinkable type)
/attachments/68422That's going to be one armoured calf once it's finished. How's it going to be shaded?

Also I'm way too indecisive about a new tattoo. How on earth do you guys actually decide on final designs?
I was 27 when I got my first tattoo, fairly impulsive at LDN tattoo festival in 08
Since then I have had a few that I deliberated over, and a couple that were spur of the moment ones
Don't regret any. -

Think I'm gonna go with Skylab as Space Tat #1... Gonna speak to elsquire ASAP, think it'll suit his style...

Also thinking of getting space tat #1.
Maybe a straight up copy of the quasar binary map and hydrogen atom diagram from the voyager record.

What about this spaceship?

iirc he's already got a penis and balls on his wheel covers, so a tattoo of that wouldn't surprise me.

My wheel covers also sport a fine cockandballs.

That looks ace Darkin. I've wondered what King of Hearts is like as it's my end of town.
@spenceey I stick to fairly classic motifs for the most part - fierce animals and pretty girls, but then I'm not someone who attaches any meaning to them, I just like the way they look...
Oh hang on, is that the new place in New Cross ? Passed by it the other day, I dont remember it being there before... or maybe I just didnt notice it
Yeah in New Cross. It's real good. Everyone that works there is really lovely and happy to just have a natter and a cup of tea. I often drop in after wet rides for a cuppa and to warm up.
Eric the main artist is real fucking good and can do pretty much any style.
Boff does some awesome machine work there from time to time and Tom Bates (who i posted some work of a few days ago) is getting real good and is there 2 days a week.Dexter is well on her way to be a BOMB artist too.

Haha yeah man. I went in to have a chat and Eric decided we should do it there and then. Mega awesomez!!!

I've never really seen designs before the day I got them put on me either, never felt the need to change anything when I have - I guess that's because I've been tattooed by people whose work I know quite well and I'm no artist myself. So far, so good I guess.
