I wondered whether anyone would be interested in this, which I would like to get rid of..
Vintage, presumably 1960s, Campagnolo Record Pista crankset
170mm cranks
151BCD 48t 3/32" ring
Campagnolo chainbolts
English pedal threading
Lovely looking classic Pista crankset, in very good condition: the threads and tapers are fine, the ring has very little wear, there aren't any major scuffs on the cranks. BUT, it does have a hairline crack on the spider in the place where these develop hairline cracks. I'm not sure if it could be filed out -- it looks to me like it's too far gone. My guess is that it should be alright for gentle riding and pootling about, but that it'd be risky using it for anything more strenuous. So, you're either paying for the ring, the bolts, and the left crank, or for a crankset for gentle use, or for a beautiful ornament.
Annoyingly, I bought this on Ebay then put it aside without checking it properly, so didn't see the crack until well after it was too late to return.
I paid around £90, so shall we say £55?
I'm happy to post or collection is from either Shadwell, E1 or Imperial College, SW7.
