Not bad if you stay on the coast but you'll miss the best bits up from st seb to pamplone and a great road up from there over to st jean on the french side. Watch out for the weather, it can be FILTHY up in the hills even in summer!

this would be an awesome ride, but pretty tough on fixed i reckon! Once you get over the french border its just a long dirty road right the way to biarritz with some monster climbs (a few great views to be had though mind)

if you happen to be in San Sebastian don´t hesitate to contact the locals! although I still think that´s a pretty tough ride, bear in mind that this is a very mountainous area...
anyway, here we are www.fixedgeardonostia.comthe same on facebook! good luck and stick to the coastal area!

Hmmm, wish I'd searched this before..
Might be doing this tomorrow, in reverse. Is 7 hrs too ambitious? I'm fairly strong, and no stranger to 100+ miles. Looks to be a few serious cols along the way
Hi all, has anybody ridden Bilbao to Biarritz fixed? Any advice?
