Merckx pistas are common as muck though.

Don't forget this one is made from Neuron tubing, which should do wonders for the ride compared to an SLX Merckx.

If i was short, like Chrisbmx, i'd jump on at 500 shipped.

But yeah, seems like there's a move towards alu and more modern frames but the stupid high prices are still attached to the old ones.

I'd pay the asked price above (the fixed one) for an MLX pista in my size though. Anyone? A 58cm - 60cm c-t-c...
