Well spotted do you have any pictures of a derny?

That's Brian Taylor, where is he now?

Derny Fest is a great event, was probably my favourite event to ride, the will to not be embarassed by losing my machine always pushed me harder than any other race....

Here you go. The finest athletes competing on the track.

Did anyone go?
I had to leave before the end to avoid turning into a pumpkin at midnight, some reasonable weather though for a change.

I was planning to go, but no one was keen on joining me...
Hope it was good -

Matt Gittings won I heard, he is a legend behind a derny, and still only in his early twenties. Sadly I didn't go. I would liked to have seen it.

There weren't really many (any?) spectators and the racing was sporadic. Some of the women's omnium races were good but I'm not a fan of long, drawn out derny racing.

This Saturday, 25th May, 2.00pm
The British Pacing Association’s Derny Fest and National Womens’ Omnium. Two race meetings for the price of one. Then again, it’s free to watch them both!
