Please buy that
+1
put the engine out of the t5 in it...*
*i had to do it.
I have floated the idea and received a certain amount of resistance, with references made to the incomplete nature of the renovation work.
The T5 swap is well documented but far from simple.

Pull your fucking finger out then and stop buying electrical bike parts.

It's a pretty massive undertaking, which I'd sub out to Tim W/Altiss.
First off would be sourcing a standard engine, turbo, exhaust and brakes to go into my existing car, then sell it.
I'd then have the Feritta exhaust and downpipe to sell, and a built engine ready for the Amazon, plus the AP's.
Already quite complex! But wait!
I'd then need a whiteblock M90 out of an S/V90, an I6 sump+dipstick likely from the same car, and a P2 I5 intake manifold converted to a conventional throttle.
I6 sump needs shortening by (you guessed it) one cylinder, and the engine will need engine mounts making for it.
Also the I5 puts the distributor into the firewall, so that has to go.
M90 bolts straight on/in- but the diff will cope with 350 bhp/600Nm for about 3 seconds, so the rear end will need replacing- open to suggestions on that front.
Intercooler and pipework will need putting together, and we're almost done.
Just the standalone EMS with COP to go...

For a man of your means that should be a walk in the park.

I'd end up with a 30K Amazon.

Buy the thing and drive the fuck out of it! HP isn't everything.
I'd love to bomb around in that old tank.

I can't justify two cars- I cycle more miles than I drive every year.
Therefore one would have to go- and I'd get the same money for my 850 if it had the built motor/zorst/brakes as if it was stock, so I think the best thing to do would be to put it back to stock for the sale.
Then I have the engine on a pallet...

But it could of course just stay there whilst I bomb around in the Amazon, I guess.
But if I do that then you have to put the engine in your MG Richie.

If it's a matter of not enough time Dammit, just stop weighing bike parts and that'll save you about a week or so over a year.

I'd like to find something eloquent to describe how the sounds that come from these machines make me feel, but it'd just sound like 50 shades of wrong. Enjoy. My Favourite bits are 0:51 and 1:10.

Sadly the turbo on my car acts like a big bundled up sock in the exhaust- the 2.5 NA's on a stock exhaust make a nicer sound than the turbo cars.

Fine so long as you do nothing.
So annoying when you see people hit the brakes when they hit water or try and swerve out of a puddle when they're already in it.

Yep, just held the wheel straight, and kept my foot down. Though the entire car basically submerged and was totally blind for about 5 seconds
