  • Every time Gabes posts a picture, I like him a little bit less.

  • Sheeeeiiiiittttt. Looks hench.

  • Every time Gabes posts a picture, I like him a little bit less.

    I'm fine with the pictures.

I never liked him in the first place.

  • How did they ride it there with no pedals?

  • Magnets.

  • ^ Does the suspension linkage work as some form of castration machine :-s

REEEEEPOST, from every mountain bike forum out there!

    Aw.

    I'm fine with the pictures.

I never liked him in the first place.

    I never liked me either!

  • It is a very pretty bike.

  • REEEEEPOST, from every mountain bike forum out there!

I didn't post it on those forums ;-)

  • ^ That's sweet! Great frame! Looks like an awesome ride.

    My new ride...

...which is the basically the best mountain bike i've ever ridden or owned! It's the bike I've been waiting for all my life!

Anyone want my Cotic Soul frame: http://www.lfgss.com/thread106962.html

  • Those Cotic full sussers just look the business. Win!

  • Was thinking about taking a trip down to the Lordship Loop in Tottenham. Has anyone been? Looks like a couple hours worth of fun while at the same time improving my pumping skills. Am I going to get stabbed and my bike stolen?

  • Just put a deposit on one of these frames.

Lovely bike. I really wanted one but when I test rode it I realised a few things

    a) it's too much bike for me
    b) it's quite short in the top tube
    c) the rear suspension was too active for what I wanted it for.

It's has rave reviews for the most part - are you getting a raw frame - so practical!

What wheelsize - think it has the option to run 650b? Fantastic video on their site about the descent of some mountain on one.

    Nah - its all good.
Its a great spot for honing skills - and a proper work out.

  • Its also worth checking out the slightly larger bmx/pump track in Haggerston Park.
    Super fast tarmac berms.

I wanted the raw frame, but it was a limited run and they never made any in small :(

I'm gonna run 26", as I have parts already, and 650b is just some bullshit to make you buy more shit. Medium + can run 650b, and XXL is for 29er only now.

  • 650b is just some bullshit to make you buy more shit.

Although I've become a bit of a 29er fanboi lately*, I'd agree with you there.

One or the other please. Inbetween can gtfo >>>>

*mainly because it stops my giant frame from looking even more ridiculous.

  • 29ers make sense for XC or long distance off-road stuff. I plan to build one eventually as I wanna do the Tour Divide in 2015... we'll see...

  • Rode at Afan over the weekend - Skyline and Whytes Level - Enjoyed the fireroad climbs more than the singletrack back down...think I might be doing it wrong!

You need to try a rigid 29er fatbike, as do I. Apparently they are ridiculously fast on downhill trail sections.

  • They're amazing over hard bumpy fields.

  • I had a fatbike, just sold it today. Though it was a 26 x 4". The only 29er fatbike I know of is the Krampus at 29 x 3".

It was fun, but not enough fun to keep hold of.

  • It has gone to a good home.

  • Indeed, I hope she enjoys it!

  • making plans for IOW weekender in September..
gonna be mental, judging by who's on the invite list
