They shouldve made the drops with a standard bend at the (shoulder?) - the bars are missing one of the best grip positions and you cannot install levers, plus it looks a bit shit.
The bar end lights are at the bottom anyway, so they are this shape for no reason at all!

I really like this idea. It's just too expensive and the bars are really ugly. 200 dollars for the black or white version. If it was possible to integrate this in a normal handlebar for, let's say, 50 dollars, I would purchase this.

They appear to be that shape because they use the same crossbar with the headlight and gps kit in it and add bull horns or drops as required. If they welded at the very end of the drops they wouldn't be strong enough.
Agree with you about the overall shape through. Needs a redesign to be able to put some brakes on it.

As far as I know you can put brakes on both bars. You can place a normal brake lever at the bottom of the bullhorn so you can brake if you're holding them at the end of the bars.
You can mount a normal brake from a road drop bar on the drops.

(no idea if they work/quality etc)That is a totally different system. I was already thinking of purchasing the Tackx system. But I ment that I would pay 50 for the system in the kickstarter campaign.
219 (ex shipping) is way to much. That is actually reaching the price of proper carbon bars. -

Resurrected. Damn sick idea with the GPS, lights and bluetooth finally. Bars are ugly as hell and will probably require special Helios Grips.
Hi All,
I didn't see anything already posted so thought I'd flag this up. Looks pretty interesting and is on the crowd funding site kickstarter.
The basics are an integrated lamp into the bars (with indicators on the bar ends) but the main thing is a GPS locator if the bike gets stolen. There is also a speed gauge but I think that seems a little iffy and "ambient lighting" along with proximity sensor?
