Didn't see in brick lane sadly. I suspect he probably doesn't work near you but actually hangs out near you. Maybe in a pub or something man. They tend not to steal where they live or work.
Also put the word out on the spotted pages for other cities as I know a lot of bikes get sent to Oxford if they are worth more than a penny an resold there to cyclists who will pay more.
