• There's really no good way to set it up without drilling the struts or buying new ones, but since the basket is temporary until I can a TCB/CETMA rack it's not worth the effort. And I can't raise the stem height since it's already at the min insertion. And it's not like I'm carrying a huge amount of weight with it anyways. It's just for small parts and pizza.

I think that the Wald could work just fine, I've owned a Cetma in the past, and the only thing that really sets them apart from the Wald are the struts, which can be bodged quite easily. The Cetma doesn't come with a basket either, so another plus on the Wald side. Most people need to learn from their own mistakes, but if you want to save some dosh, and have a basket that works, the Wald is the way to stay. The Cetma is no lightweight either.
