It's not 'my beloved swastika'. My point is that I don't agree *all tattoos involving one are shit*, like by default.

Hi, this is Berlin, Germany speaking here, by the way - you don't need to point out the impact of the symbol when worn here today.
It is outlawed over here, and that may not be a bad idea, at least for a while.

Still, an *adaption *of this about 6000 year old symbol has been 'reappropriated' by the nazis, for, well, some years.

I get what EEI is saying - and it of course is an issue - I wouldn't want to 'explain' myself (or: get beaten the fuck up by anti-fascists) every day,
and that's the way it would roll, as I do look 'german', and not 'hindu' or whatever to begin with.

It definately would play a role in what form you got that symbol tattooed,
bold, on it's own, turned 45° to the right, like the fashists used it -
or the traditional way, incorporated in some design, as in the picture above (or, a bit more subtle, the one below).

Ok, so the 'beloved swastika' was deliberately inflammatory, and I vaguely apologise for labelling you, but if you don't understand why 'some fascists' can change a sybolic meaning forever then maybe you need to do a little more research.

Without history the symbol means nothing, if I painted it on a space ship and aliens found it then they might think 'ooh, that's a funky cross' but then, if I was to paint 'fuck off aliens, you pointy headed shitbags' then I doubt they'd be to offended as they'd not have any reference points. (I'd draw a picture, pointing out their pointy heads, you gotta keep shit simple in space)
