• @Bas .. If you don't trust you're modification why not add a seat coller or hose clamp to the post itself on top of the frame clamp to stop it moving down. This is a common modification by Pro team mechanics for the pave classics ..

    You mean the post 'wobbles' or you can twist it? The seatpost shouldn't ever wobble (have any play in it) at all, even with an open/busted seatcollar. If it does, it's too small for the frame.

    It twists, with quite some effort.

    The tube bit turns when the pressure high. So the angle looks way more off now. Don't quite know what you're trying to tell me what to do, although I do love your drawings.
