• I have a tiny 1975 Motobecane mixte for sale. You don't see nice thin tube mixte bikes in that size often...

I re-commissioned it at Chrismas for my brother’s girlfriend but she hasn’t been using it much (less than 20 miles) so here we are. I fully serviced the bike, degrease/clean/regrease all bearings – headset/BB/wheels and had the wheels trued by a shop. This is ready to ride!

Being 38 years old, the bike has accumulated scuffs and marks on the paint but no dents. Slight pitting on the bars/lever/rear rack, nothing major.

Frame: 50cm seat tube, 52cm projected top tube will fit a lucky lady around 5ft to 5ft5 (153cm to 165cm). Unknown tubing but pretty light. Rear rack, full mudguards, full operational Soubitez dynamo (new bulbs). Quill seatpost with comfortable saddle.
Cockpit: 46cm swept back bars (chromed steel), 50mm quill stem, new grips, chromes steel levers, new BBB white outer cables, new inner cables.
Brakes: Weinmann Symetric with new pads front and back
Wheels: Rigida Superchromix 36h steel rims on nutted Union (W.Germany) hub at the front and nutted Atom at the back. The wheels have been trued.** New** Michelin World Tour 650x35B white wall tyres
Gears: 175mm Solida cottered 46t cranks (French threaded pedals), new cotter pins, new bottom bracket bearings, 3 speed freewheel 14t-28t, Huret Svelto rear derailleur & downtube shifter. New inner/outer cables. Chain is near new condition. Really nice looking chainguard.

The bike is kept indoors at my work in Chancery Lane, come and take it for a spin!

It is about 10kg all in. The frame will take 700c wheels is you remove the mudguards.

I hear you say 'How much?' - £170 SOLD! please.

    Cheers

    Vince
