  • Have recently taken delivery of a new track frame and now have the task of sourcing all the parts and tools required if I decided to build the bike myself.
It’s been a while since I have built a bike and currently don’t have any of the required tools to perform such a task.
I understand that Park tools are a good brand with respect to cycle tools.
One of the many decisions I have to make, is what crank and bottom bracket to go for, internal or external and what size rear cog to fit.
I have a road bike and cycle 50 miles a week with the intention to have a fixed gear, single speed retro looking machine for training and cruising.
Had no idea until now of how big the fixed gear bike scene is, the choice of part options is over whelming.
Bought a copy of the “urban cyclist magazine” in order toget up to speed with what’s going on.
