what a fanny. Aside from the weather rendering affairs ridiculous at points, all you need is a few positives added to the mix to feel that it's just a circus act.
And here was me reading some reassuring analysis on Cyclismas last night that said that performances were so much slower they were more credible (I think the phrase was "aside from a few glimmers of decent riding this Giro’s gone from slow to Cat 6 fatty in full Disco Kit")
Maybe Di Luca was the 'glimmer of decent riding'. Rofl. Cretino indeed.
Ah well-praying for the weather to clear regardless! Irony being that if Wiggo had tanked everyone in the TT's and defended a lead, so many hills have been chopped out or cancelled he'd be creaming himself in a hot-tub right now and having a right chuckle along with a Benson and Hedges...
