I'm curious as to what people here generally carry in a front rack, beyond alcohol.
I'm asking because I removed my Wald when I found that I wasn't using it enough to justify the extra weight and riding characteristics.
My problem may be that I'm within 8-10 minutes walk of at least 5 grocery stores (3 of which are organic specialists), plus an Italian and a German market, a couple of halal corner shops, a wine store and an LC (Liquor Commission, where the whole range of alcoholic beverages may be purchased).

Anything I'd otherwise carry on my back. Cameras, clothes, shopping, bike parts. I've even carried a frame, fork and wheel on top my Wald.

Only 1 bike.

Just got a battered old silver King to replace the loose ball headset on there.

frame cost me 35 quid because the extended seat tube part was slightly bent, so I heated it up and bent it back. A friend is trying to convince me to drill the wishbone and use it as my work bike..

Winner winner chicken dinner! That's just a killer in my eyes. My knees are starting to give in and something like this is starting to look more tempting everyday. One of my favourite bikes on this thread for sure.

It's whether the basket works for it's intended or not, that it should be judged on. Assuming it does, I like the look of that bike.
