Hi everyone, long time no see,
I’ve just been sorting some bikes that have come in accidentally with other bikes and frames. Two large (and I mean large) road bikes here – the first is a Holdsworth Elan and second is a Dawes Jaguar. Both are 1980s and sound and built from Reynolds 531 tubing but both need some tidying so are cheap….
Shipping on bikes within the UK will be £20 – other items can ship free of charge in the same box. I can ship anywhere in the world at a reasonable cost.

Rear dropout width: 126mm
Wheel size: 700C
Frame tubing: Reynolds 531 butted main tubes & 531 forks
Seat tube size: 27.2mm
This Holdsworth Elan is in very sound condition but is a bit scruffy. It has Suntour VX gears combined with SR chainset, Weinmann 500 brakes, GB engraved bars and stem, Saddle is a scruffy Turbo on a SR aero seatpost. Wheels are Suzue QR hubs on Super Champion (later known as Wolber) Gentleman narrow section rims. Needs a bit of a tidy-up nut nothing serious or would make a cheap and easy singlespeed or fixed conversion. £115
DAWES JAGUAR ROAD BIKE

Frame tubing; Reynolds 531 butted main tubes
Wheel size: 700C
The Dawes Jaguar was Dawes’ top road bike I think in the early 1980s and is built from Reynolds 531 butted main tubes with not too gappy clearances. It has Suntour VX gears combined with SR chainset, Maillard hubs with 700C Weinmann concave rims, Weinmann 500 brakes, SR stem with GB engraved gold anodised bars in nice condition and great Bluemels Shorty aluminium guards. Its mostly in very good condition. Make an easy budget singlespeed or fixed conversion for a TALL rider… SOLD
