Just googled it, is the route really only 15 miles? I'll be on 48/17 with a hangover.

It depends on where you start from. My south london start is about 45 miles, no idea how far the Hove start is, but I've no intention of getting out of bed early enough to get the train there for the rideout.

Did you have the LFGSS pale blue jersey and cap on last year? I almost said hello to you (but was too shy...)

I did indeed. Didn't see any other obvious lerfgersers but did chat to a whole bunch of randoms about my "club".
I rode there and back last year, too - glorious day for it. I'd intended to get the train back but the lanes were so nice and the sun was so warm and the ale was so refreshing that I figured the fresh air would be loads nicer.

I'm not an obvious lerfgerser. I was on the MTB at the time.

hey we are your friends too
I've just bought a ticket for this, so I'll be there, and riding from south london.
Google terrain view seems to indicate that the route is mostly flat except for a couple of bumps around Reigate and Nuthurst so I'll be going fixed on 44/16, yolo etc. I will decide later if I'm riding back or getting the train.
