I was having a chat about this a couple of weeks ago (not about this ride, specifically).
I think the ladies rides generally would benefit from using some kind of template, in the same way that Braker does his, that includes the "bois aloud" / "bois not aloud" in the very first post. Everybody has a different opinion on whether it's ok or not and the call should ultimately be up to the ride leader, but actually having that info in the introductory post would save a lot of fannying about worrying if it's ok or not.
