K-Series certainly does fit, I think you need a Ford Type-9 gearbox for it, and a few tunnel modifications. As I recall there are a few companies specialising in the conversion.

Wow at those prices, the conversion is not that difficult and don't have to use the ford gearbox. There are six speeders that can be made to fit with better ratios than the t9. But using the t9 you could always make it 4x4.
