Stolen bikes

So... Yesterday I was subject to a hit and run and they also stole my bike whilst I was out cold... CUNTS! Keep an eye out and inform me if you have any info... Cheers

Are you sure the thieves were the same people as the hit-and-runners? Opportunistic theft of the bike of a temporarily stunned cyclist is not unknown, sadly.

What's one bobby going to do... they need an extended undercover operation where they not only bust the people selling but get at the entire network of thieves and buyers and choppers. Busting the odd BL seller isn't going to make a dent in the organised crime that is bicycle theft these days.

Hi All, two condor bikes stolen from Trimetals "Protect-a-cycle" shed in West Dulwich SE21 last Weds.

Black 2010 Condor Italia - SRAM Rival, grey condor bar-tape, Black fizik arione saddle, Mavic Aksium wheels and Conti Gatorskins. large frame

Grey 2012 Condor Tempo - Brown bar tape, Fizik Arione with brown stripe saddle, Miche Condor wheels, Specialized black armadillo tyres, Condor Poggia mudguards, Hamax seat bracket. 61cm frame.

Shed opened by thieves using bolt-cutter to destroy hasps, locks rendered useless. Police said they'd seen the same MO on 4 sheds recently.

Quite a lot of bikes being stolen in the West Dulwich/Herne Hill area. Keep an eye out for your bike or parts online. I found my wheels on eBay, not sure if the police have done anything but all of the sellers items have now been removed.

Send photos of the damage to the idiots that made the claims below. Then ask for your money back on both the container and your bikes.

Got my recently re-built Raleigh Randonneur stolen from Boundary Street E1 last night around 10pm while at the restaurant.

Little fucker.

Gumnetal Grey / white headtube Raleigh Randonneur late 80s frame. Mavic SUP 2 wheels, Suntour chainset, Shimano rear and front mech, Cinelli black stem (logo gone ages ago), Cinelli World Champ drops with black/white logo Cinelli cloth tape, Shimano 105 brakes, Shimano 600 aero seatpost and Cinelli black Unicanitor Barry McGee saddle. Please see pics.

Not a stunning bike but very big sentimental value so prepare to do anything to recover it. Any help mucho appreciated, beers reward and eternal gratitude if anyone can help me find it.

I'd pm you it but I can't as you are a new member. Don't want to put it up on here as the thieves could be reading. Keep an eye on gumtree, ebay, bikeshd etc It was 3 weeks after my bike was stolen that the wheels appeared. The seller has no listings at the moment.

My beautiful Condor Acciaio Carbon was stolen on 21/05/2013 from inside my office Waterloo Court, 10 Theed Street, SE1 8ST at 17:50-17:55, on the second floor, where it was locked. I had only bough this on LFGSS on the 12/05/13, the seller said it was very rare so with that in mind I'd like to ask you guys to keep an eye out for it.

I'm told this is being treated as a burglary as they came onto private property, inside the building, up to the second floor where the bike was locked to the railings. They cut the cable securing the bike. This is not visible from ground level so they must have come up, checked it out and returned with bolt cutters.

Its a rare bike in as new condition;

Gutted is not the word, its the first nice thing I have been able to buy for myself in about 3 years, having serviced it that morning, and with a cycling trip over this coming weekend I have 2 days to find it!

This has been months in the finding and to have it stolen so soon is an incredibly cruel twist of fate.

This is super-rare, not even Condor believed it existed until I got the headset replaced by them. It has to show up.

This usually is it, stay on it for at least a month, they have no worries sitting on it for a while, so just keep looking for it. Good luck and hope you get a chance to brake that bastard's hands

And I've just thought, if its Waterloo and offices, check around for any CCTV cameras. Waterloo and surrounding areas must be covered in them. Get a crime reference number and start trying to find out who's cameras they are. Then ask if you can get access to them. BTW the cycle task force is based in Southwark, the other side of The Cut.
