Gabba.
Nice but pricey.
Actually been looking at them with longing in the eyes-thinking of getting the hi-vis(?!) fawesome gilet, but then maybe sleeved one would be more sensible given how shit summers are here...
anyone tried?

Reviewed and not particularly waterproof - definitely sounds like something to enable you to ride in the rain, as opposed to stay dry on a commute

I did stage 12 of the giro on Thurs in my gabba...all the tifosi said I was the only cyclist they saw on the course before the pros the weather conditions were so bad. My Gabba kept me dry and I couldn't have done it without it really.

Sounds perfect-just did another ride and got truly drenched in my Rapha Paul Smith jacket after about an hour and was baking hot for the privilege so it's not ideal.
Do you have the short sleeve one with arm warmers or the long sleeve? I quite like the idea of getting the high vis gilet for summer evenings but maybe the short sleeve would be more versatile.

Anyone aware of any 'classic' new/ replica' summer short sleeved jerseys going at the minute?
Or at least something classy, less than £50 and not plastered in random logo's -

Short sleeve version. It's good with arm warmers etc. down to about 6-10 degrees or so depending on how hot you work. Castelli rates it 10-18 degrees but personally I think it'd be a bit hot around the 18 mark even without the arm warmers.
There's a reason why half the peloton wear a gabba when it's wet - some hiding the fact better than others.

Given how quickly that collection has been selling I am not sure they need to give out discount codes.
Limited run. Should have sold out about two days after it started if it's that good.

XL & XXL sold out first?

600 pieces at 300 GBP no easy feat.

Looking for a Rapha Mac. They are currently out of stock. They were out of stock for a while, then came back into stock, and then have sold out again.
Likelihood of them making another batch and selling them again?
Anyone with a second hand one (Large) they are looking to part with?

I was wearing an old Rapha merino jersey (about 5 years old I think) the other day and some one said to me..
"Wow! That's genuine vintage Rapha!"
Vintage? VINTAGE!..

I'm 78kg/187cm and wear the medium.
I would love to fit a medium since i cant really "fill" a large but the with the mediums most top-fronts end at my bellybutton :(
Have longer torso than you prolly. -
• #12343
Nah, I have the belly button issue also- doesn't really bother me when wearing bib-shorts and/or on the bike, looks a bit silly when I go out too get my lunch at work whilst wearing my winter jersey as a jacket though.
However, this is better than wearing the L as that is far too baggy.
To be honest I'd prefer the arm/shoulder/back length of the L, the chest of the M and the gut/waist of the S,

Just received the shoes (had a load of gift vouchers from the relatives) through the post. Head of packaging there must have LOVED pass the parcel as a young un. Probably could have had a game going for at least 7 unravels.
The smell is worth the entrance fee alone. Reminds me of my first pair of proper football boots.

beating myself up daily for not getting the rapha condor team colored giro factor shoes

Ah k, sounds like we are pretty much the same then.
On a side note i just recieved the transfer jacket which was a good fit and a very nice casual jacket imo.

Was tempted by the shoes but don't want to run the risk of looking a full kit wanker.

^^ lucky you. Happy Birthday.

Congrats! Thats a very nice present!
So the slim fit tailored ¾ Shorts really are slim fit tailored.
The 34" waist fits perfectly, but my package is on show up front and they are rather revealing on the backside - clearly not designed with sprinters in mind...
Don't know whether to return for the size up or just get a refund and abandon my dreams of cosmopolitan cycling style.
