  • I popped in on foot this afternoon, was great to see the Feathers, Demons and Donhous in the flesh, some amazing bikes. Was a great event with a really nice atmosphere.

  • I stopped by earlier. Liked what I saw. Bought a small bag from the Pearson stand. The hog roast looked good but had dinner waiting so bypassed that. Meant to ask Vulpine about women's clothing but forgot.

  • Popped in for an hour at about 12.30. Loved to seatcluster on the Donhou racers.

Lovely location couldn't have beer or food, picking up middle kid from scout camp later in the day. Would pull in for a fag and a pint in future though

Pleased to see the Vupine stuff looked really neat.

Talked to the bike furniture chap for a while, liked the design.

  • Damn exams :/ would've headed down if i wasn't stuck in revision...

  • I wandered past about 4, having forgotten about it but when I saw an unusually high amount of nice bikes in the racks opposite Saino's it jogged my memory. Sadly I didn't venture inside for fear of making a stupid purchase.

As for the fear of stuff getting robbed, I'm not sure people really know what they're nicking round here. As I say, you rarely see nice bikes in Balham.

  • Went along to pop my head in and stayed all day! Didn't know anyone but the few people I chatted to were very welcoming. Had a wander around, sunk a few ales, ate some hog roast, had a good laugh watching a few people race it out on the 'Rollapaluza Roller Racing'. All in all a cracking day out!

  • I said I'd go but then ended up going MTBing instead (with the intention of going later). Predictably I was too tired.

I have seen a few items of Vulpine clothing though. It looks fantastic and the ppl I know, who own it, say it works really well.

Good to see rider owned businesses making quality products. More of this sort of thing.

Also BBC is a great venue.

  • Great day out, didn't expect to get the venue with my bike, but made it and spent all of the day there and won the rollars to get a nice jersey and also got my new pb of 22.35, oh how i can smell 21sec...

  • Lovely day out, really great to see Hoke, Jimbilly, ms. socks and the folks from wfw! Sadly the two brands I was looking forward to speaking to the most were both a bit wierd with me, either greeting me then turning away or cutting the conversation short to pander to older men. As someone who works in the industry in various guises, there's nothing more that makes me want to badmouth a brand! Ah well, I did win my roller race though!

Though my initial comment was partly made in jest... trust me, they do

    They do indeed...

Spoke to the Roser Racer guy who was pretty cool. Loved his bikes...
