Did Stroud - Oxford via back roads on Sunday - the section between Cirencester and Burford is some of the prettiest cycling I've ever done. Bucolic, ridiculously picture-postcard Cotswoldian scenes, lovely road (got on Roman Road and stayed on it) and perfect conditions. Spring was spaffing its chlorophyllic abundance everywhere, and I was enjoying it dribbling down my face. Or something. Definitely want to do Oxford - Bristol and then on to Lands End later this summer. There be some good roads out west...
