oh also, since the replaceable sole business is my main motivation for buying these, are the spare parts easy to get hold of? CRC show two kinds available, one called "Dragon only" (Dragon only, obv) and one called "Action" - does this one fit all the other SRS shoes?

I've debated whether I'd go for an SRS sole next time, all other things being equal. They're softer, so they grip better, but consequently wear more quickly than the standard lugs. You probably need to budget £25 to £40 to get a replacement set, and the older style ones did suddenly become a hard to find item. I got more life out of a set by adding inner tube cut-out inserts between the lugs and sole.

I think there may have been 3 different kinds - Dragon, Action, and another which I forget the name of. You should be able to get a definitive answer from Sidi regarding compatibility.
