I dunno - the break was on, but the peloton let them stay away and didn't look like they were bothered until the Telegraph really. I guess no-one was in the mood to attack.

This. The first week had some tension, now I'm getting deja vu back to the Tour with Nibali looking the equal of anyone who attacks and his Astana cohorts doing a pretty good impression of the Sky train day after day. I was hoping for some sparring on the Galibier but the GC contenders seemed to have half an eye on the rest day and a drop of Barolo. It's gotten a bit processional, hoping for someone to put the frighteners on Nibali next week.
