Enjoyed this
@FCMeltdown: Chelsea should be forced, out of respect for the competition to defend their Europa League title meaning we get CL
-
• #81904
And while we are about it lets just remind the jubilant Arses that they have scraped into the CL qualifiers thank to Chelsea's enhancement of the English league standings within Europe.
This is unfortunately almost true. There would have been the same number of places this year whether Chavski had fluked the CL final or not but given the poor showing of the English clubs in Europe (including the shortest defense campaign in the history of the Champions League) them winning the Euro consolation prize has undoubtedly helped for our standing in Europe.

Apparently Benitez did not join the lap of honour, not out of respect for Chelsea supporters but because he was in talks with Kenwright. Benayoun is going with him.

Nice to see WBA bend over to make sure Fergie gets a nice victory in his final game
Classic Mike, if I'd seen this at the time I would've put my house on West Brom

It's because of his treatment from the so called 'fans'.
Nor did he receive any farewells or thankyou's from some senior player. A disgraceful way to treat the guy. I hope Mourinoho comes back and it al in in tears. He has the look of someone who is about to lose the plot completely about him,. -

Good night sweet prince:
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest!Jamie Carragher you are a legend and will be missed most greatly by Pepe Reina
737 appearances and not one of those did you give any less that 100% for the cause
defenders like him don't come around too often
we'll be a weaker team without him ( yes i know ... how is that even possible ) -

You can stop trolling dicki. The season is over. You have a break until August.
Good riddance Carragher, one of the most despicable footballers ever.

Well we did what we had to do and win against Sunderland, and Arsenal beat Newcastle.
We need to get in a couple of quality strikers cover for the wing positions, as Lennon being out of action is as much of a miss for us as Bale going down injured.
But honestly, in AVB's first season in charge, players out, players in, I'd have taken this position at the beginning. It's going to be even harder to get into the CL next season as pretty much everyone above us will be retooling and spending the cash, got to hope that the stability of AVB and some new players in early in the transfer window produces more unity and solidity.
Europa League, you've got to be in it, to win it, and if we have any real intentions of getting into the CL learning how to play twice a week throughout the season, and having a squad and players able to do so should put us in good stead for not having our form dip on the weekend.
Ahh the smell of the transfer window, players in, players out, and the hope springing eternal of next year being our yearâ„¢ (â„¢Liverpool fans everywhere) is almost too much to bear. Despite Utd winning the league and Chelsea scrapping the Europa League and the Arse clinging onto 4th spot, its been a good year.
Swansea, WBA, Southampton and Norwich (in patches) Villa not getting relegated and their youngsters coming on leaps and bounds. All made me glad I watch football.
Until the charity shield kicks off.

I honestly read somewhere over the weekend that Gerrard would be a good replacement for Alan Hansen once he fucks off next year.
Might consider getting sky if that happens.

Corny you plastic, you still have a team in the richest single game in football.
That's right, your beloved Eagles play Udinese reserves for a chance to be relegated from the Premiershit next season.

if only you'd read what some people write, Carragher is joining all other ex-Liverpool players on BT Vision. Pray to god that they have good subtitles.

Dicki - let's be clear. No single human being on the planet outside of LFC understands a word Carragher says. Not one. He is single handedly responsible for the mental breakdown and subsequent hospitalisation of dozens of Closed Captioning staff at Sky and the BBC. Ask Corny - he works in TV. At a MINIMUM you would require English as a langauge. Fuck knows what Carragher is going on about.
