Its not common, but it can happen at the yoke (seen it on various Sworks versions), lifetime warranty covers it, if not, get it repaired, costs about £60+vat+postage from HQ fibre products and it will never fail in that area again. Period.
If the mech hanger has failed and gone through the seatstay, again, repair it not a lot of money and it will sell easy, vs. not really.
