Snowboarding

Just booked NYE in Avoriaz....

First time boarding, have done lessons, so looking forward to getting onto proper snow. Going with my brother, who has been boarding for a few years but has never been to Avoriaz. Anyone been and got any thoughts?

There's a massive area to ride and it does get pretty busy but you'll always get on a lift, some tips you be...

If you want to do jumps go in the basic park, do not go near the big line as you won't be able to hit them properly and will just piss off those who do.

If you end up in the big park, don't sit near the jumps, it ends baddly...

There some great area with beginner friendly terrain near the town, next to and above the superpipe.
