I'll buy it.
I'd check with Max, Matt, etc before doing anything to close to the tattoo. Also I don't like it ;)

I'd get one if the design was simple/unassuming, I like the tattoo but would want a jersey to be a bit more subtle.
Something more along the lines of Todd's home kit than the away kit/the lfgss jersey

Noted. Simple design. Okay.

Is 'Hardcourt Bike Polo CC' a LDN-only affair?
-
• #6
I was thinking of keeping it vague so that anyone from any polo club could buy one and we could raise more money too!
I was using it as an example. It would be nice if they were international even.

If it's primarily a track/ride jersey then I'd definitely play on that with a "I'd rather be playing bike polo" style line.
^ Also has international appeal, keep it fun/upbeat and it should go down well with non-polo playing people too?

+1 to jono and ed, nice idea jessie

Count me in, I wore my LPC jersey for an offroad race recently but a proper jersey would be much better.
-

I'd be up for one of these, preferably with a full length or 3/4 length zip.
-
• #11
I'd buy one, probably.
-
• #12
I like this idea (and I'm non-polo, non-track)
-
• #13
I would also buy one...
-
• #14
sounds cool, real nice idea. would be in for one!

Okay I think that's enough people for a limited run. There is a template on the Milltag site which I might try and knock something up on but if anyone else wants a go, feel free: http://milltag.cc/custom-jerseys
What are people thinking colour-wise? I was thinking dark grey with pink and black writing? (court and balls, yeah I'm lame) Also Hardcourt Bike Polo CC was just something I made up but I think it's all encompassing?
Adam, they are similar fit to your team jerseys no?

Could these shirts not double up/serve as 'Team GB' equivalents for when teams from these islands travel to Euros/Worlds etc.? Could this venture not be symbolic of the birth of a UK body...

Is this something you could hit up BDW for a design?
Or even make it a competion, winning designer gets free jersey or something?
In, by the way.

We always found, we got a lot more new players from the "polo, wtf is that" comments at bike events than anywhere else.
A jersey that could be used for racing/non-polo things saying "UK bike polo" on it?
I'd certainly have one.
Also, this!
Is 'Hardcourt Bike Polo CC' a LDN-only affair?
better to say "UK bike polo" than "Hardcourt Bike Polo CC"? Something all encompassing rather than a made-up cycling club?Colin
and err ... cough skinsuits? ;) -

Yeah maybe depends on designs.

"UK HBP CC; WTF is that?"
-
• #23
Jack already has his own jersey.

ha, brilliant suggestions.
Colin, I left it as Hardcourt Bike Polo so it was deliberately vague. That way international people could buy them as well, I was worried not enough people in the UK would be interested and given that nobody else has put their name on the list yet, I own't commit to getting someone to design it...

I'd buy one. I think more people would put their names down when there is a solid design.
What's the minimum order?
I had this idea the other day when trying to find something to wear to track...lots of polo players also ride other disciplines and I thought it would be really nice to have a Hardcourt Bike Polo CC cycling jersey. I know we've had lots of t-shirts recently but this is something with longevity and usefulness! I was thinking of keeping it vague so that anyone from any polo club could buy one and we could raise more money too! I have spoken to Milltag and they're up for it but we have to move fast. So, I would like to get a list of people who might be interested and try and find someone to design it, I was hoping to base it on something like the LPC tattoo? Feel free to tell me if it's not a goer.
