Nice work mate, looks excellent. Can really appreciate you getting it all done in Kenya especially. How did you manage to find the tyres in the end? and what you gunna do about flats - can't image 700c tubes are easy to find. Glad I could be of assistance as well.
Ta, and yes thanks for the gear! I think there's still a Condor seat post waiting for you in the UK. Just keep it, it'll be nice to go home to. I think Ill be using two-bolt posts from now on, for ease of adjustment.
I have about seven spare 700c tubes! Most have been patched around twice. But yes, they are indeed in short supply. I could probably buy them for £15/each at the bike shop on the other side of town if desperate. And tyres I took from my tourer which I got shipped over around Christmas, after putting GP4Seasons on it. No flats on the Pinarello yet, but plenty of obliging glass shards around...
Great story.
Being from Africa (albeit South Africa) myself, I can totally appreciate the outcome of this.
Love this thread.
Cheers guys. Such a shame that I'll need to sell it in 3 months time when I return to the UK. Actually, are you interested Sandbag? (I can replace the smaller 1A stem).
