After messing about with the TT disc I soon got bored and wanted my rear wheel back...
I still plan to enter a TT on this, just without a disc.
I've been planning to really get in the miles this summer, so I wanted an appropriate tourer. I'm currently restoring another bike which I plan to turn into a tourer, but that won't be done anytime soon, so I'm going to start on this.
So far I've added a rear rack plus front and rear mudguards. I really really wish this frame had a rear mech hanger and cable guides, but sadly it doesn't. Oh, also fitted a front brake.
I completely stripped the whole bike, re-lubed everything and it's all working perfectly. I'm still really in love with this bike, it's genuinely the best I've ever owned as every part of it is fun, I don't give a shit about it, yet it's my pride and joy. This bike gets used daily.
Excuse the hipstagram pics...
Things to do:
. get rear guard to fit properly
. fit front rack
. new headset
. cut of lighting bracket on forks
. 700x25c (when I get some 2nd hand ones in stock)
. get new stem (no idea what size the bars are without measuring but I really really need a new stem as that one doesn't go deep enough into the steerer)
I come with my tail between my legs...
