Freecycle: Large coffee/tea mug - New

could this mug be used as an emergency cereal bowl?I'm thinking hot milk would be fine but cold milk could be troublesome.

This problem actually kept me up last night. I'm still no closer to an answer. Of course hot milk is fine but obviously not with cereal. Cold milk and cereal are designed for each other but NOT to be eaten from a mug. However this mug is very large and is almost as spacious on the inside as a small/childs cereal bowl.
This is a grey area really and it's not something I want to continue thinking about.

Does this mug allow for the user to fully submerge a UK standard biscuit (The McVities Digestive) without having to nibble off a bit on the side first?
