Go get some decent black tape, take half n' hour or so and just wrap them bar end to stem properly, fully! If your not sure there's probably a Youtube tutorial or something to help you out, would look and feel so much better.
Then you should either paint your rear rim black and get a black front tyre, or get a silver front wheel to match the back, even as a conversion that would look good, id ride it.
Serious advice, would look a lot nicer, would gain some respect i'm sure.
