Frames produced in large numbers by a factory or factories in China and sold to companies which badge them as their own and sell them to the public.
You can see the same frame badged as a De Rosa and a Ribble, for example.
Ritte buy in frames and apply their own paint alongwith a significant markup.
The companies reselling them typically have little to no input into the design of the frame.
Planet-X make no secret of their sourcing, but do insist that they design their frames with the factories.
