  • I'm after a couple of chain tugs/chain tensioners that will fit a 2011 Langster. Can anyone help me out?

  • I have such chain tugs mks ones aswell, in truth you only need one on the drive side but if you want 2 I can sell you 2 for £20 or £10 each.

  • The Ashmolean Museum. They have a roof top 'Dining Room'.
    .
    .
an ice cream (as eyebrows says) from G&Ds

    ^ I hit these up.
Lovely service from the dining room. Great location for a fancy dinner.

Icecream - Crazy queues out the door and around the street for this so we hit the cart outside. Equally crazy girl serving us. She apparently got locked in the freezer for 30 mins. I think they did it on purpose.

Also found The Missing Bean for coffee. Not bad.

I wouldn't say fat so much as sturdy...

But at the moment I don't own a single speed, that's certainly to come :)

  • Sturdy women aaaayyyyeeee.... Ride fixed! Some people say its dangerous but they obviously have no sense of fun.

  • Keen for the Alley Cat!!

  • Spotted a nice single speed at the Tesco in Summertown today, not sure if it was anyone on here but the first nice looking ride I've seen in Oxford in a while

    what did it look like?

  • you obviously haven't seen Arthur and I rolling around yet.

  • Is that the new shop on Abingdon Road? I dropped in on the way back from a ride when I got a puncture and didn't have a spare tube - they have some cool stuff in there.

  • Those are nice, I'll have to stop in this new place

  • Yeah theyre definately worth checking out, Arthur who rides the mash is one of the mechanics there. The other mechanic Tom rides a fixed pompino aswell.

    Your Vigorelli right?

  • Yeah man. I got it from them aswell.

  • Aye I popped in there a few weeks back too. Lots of expensive kit in there.

  • A few of us are going for a ride on Sunday gonna be leaving oxford around half 8, meeting up in Jericho I think. Should be quite a long ride around 80 miles.

The alleycat on the 31st has a theme, its the recycled bicycle alleycat. I don't think anyone is bothering with fancy dress though but it should be fun. Meeting on gloucester green at 6:30 ish

  • Does anybody have a beater/pub bike they want to sell me? I'm in need of a uni bike again 56-58cm frame size would be ideal. Thanks!

  • Decided to sell my Langster as it's not really suitable for cycling to lectures and leaving outside Tescos and the fact that I can't take it home over the holidays makes it a bit of a liability!
