Hey guys, need some advice as i want to buy a 29er in about 2 months. Vitus vee
First i'm wondering about tyres, not really sure what to go for? usually very fussy about tyres, i'd use it for some long canal rides and light XC stuff with the local cycling club, involves a big mix of very muddy, gravel, stony and roots, but as i haven't ridden a mtb properly in ages and i was young back then, and now even 32c slicks would be grippy compared to what i usually ride.
could i get away with some 2.0 semi slicks? maybe some conti' race kings, or try find a light ish commuter tyre with puncture protection, i don't want it to feel sluggish you see.
Kenda small block 8's that come on it may be fine though? i don't know.
also curious on a average SS ratio, got about 60gi on my mtb beater, only use it on the road for pulling a trailer mostly
