Take off the poles from the bag, wrap the poles on the top tube and compress the tent bag to less than half the original size to put in a panniers/saddle bag.
Much easier I find than trying to fit the entire bag with everything in it.
Lockwise, a cable alarm lock that'll be useful if someone touched the bike, also make it trickier to cycle away.
