Nett spend for 2007 to 2012 at LFC was £99.25m, third highest in the league, yet their league position does not reflect this. Whereas Everton's nett spend was £5m over the same period, again their league position does not reflect this.
One club is punching above it's weight, very effectively at it. Whilst the other one continues to spunk it up the wall in hilarious fashion.

From a value for money perspective LFC are the second worst run club run over this period, after Sunderland.

I far one would be absolutely delighted if both of them went down next year, if only to teach the Sunderland board a lesson for appointing Paolo "I'm not a racist" DiCanio and the LFC for their deluded entitlement.
