of course you can. it's like being back at school, people usually say "dibs" to stake a claim; 2nd dibs, 3rd dibs and so on to form an orderly queue behind the current buyer in the event that the 1st dibser falls out. pms usually follow the dibs so that payment / postage or collection can be worked out.
