I don't think the GC will have changed very much at the end of today's stage
Wouldn't mind Hesjedal taking off and challenging the other contenders like he did on Monday though :-)

I don't think it will shake things up much but we'll get an idea of form for the mountains thanks to (I think) the first Cat 1 climb.

If anyone bothers really pushing themselves on it. They may be happy to sit in a group watching each other. Although tomorrow's a rest day, so a good day for a kick?

Morning all,
Does anyone know where there might be a live screening pref around East London today? Don't got no telly. Watched the other day with RAI full screen and muted and (possibly) virus laden Eurosport blocked window with commentary loud. Synced pretty well but even sat at home alone, I'm embarrassed by my small laptop screens effort.

Is Look Mum No Hands east enough?
There's also that sports bar on City Road, but the name escapes me right now.
-
• #532
I know LMNH, it's more central though innit? Compared to where I am at least. Bloody cup final day as well. Guh.
-
• #533
The cup final was yesterday
-
• #534
okay, championship play off/semi final. whichever. you know what i mean. more important than usual games. according to my mum.
-
• #535
Ah right. I'm trying to ignore the rest of the championship season after my team (Boro) nosedived into oblivion since January.
Carry on.

anyone got a decent feed? steephill ones are shite today-half ballroom dancing in hong kong, half pish quality.

Wiggo:
"Let's be honest I descended like a bit of a girl after that crash the other day... not to disrespect girls of course, I've got one at home..."

Columbia team kit is ace. That is all.

Wiggo:
"Let's be honest I descended like a bit of a girl after that crash the other day... not to disrespect girls of course, I've got one at home..."
Ah ! That's the problem. He don't like pink.

Wiggo:
"Let's be honest I descended like a bit of a girl after that crash the other day... not to disrespect girls of course, I've got one at home..."
Surprising to hear him say he didn't like the handing of the second bike too... Not as if it came from neutral service after all!
Don't know if I can stand listening to any more of Declan Quigly. Really detracting from my enjoyment of the Giro Ditais 2013, with his tedious, poorly timed, banal and cliche filled nonsence. Anyone know of an alternative commentary in English?
-
• #543
you can skype me and put Eurosport on mute if you like. $5.
-
• #544
my accent is probably stronger than Kelley's though. Think Sean Connery but sexier and you might be close.
On the plus side your missus might take more interest in the sport.

It would take a lot to change the look of resigned disappointment that inhabits her face whenever the cycling is on. But can't argue for a fiver
-
• #546
I'm sitting with headphones on pretending to work so if i started a running commentary I'd be found out anyway...
-
• #547
weather remains an important factor. certain manly descenders of the peloton might try and put some more time into Wiggo today...
-
• #548
trackstanding near the summit, I love it ;-)
-
• #549
"I thought it probably might be useful actually..." Quigly, please shut up.

"regional economy based on the tertiary sector"
Sorry, I thought I was watching cycling here...
Shot every time Declan Quigley starts a sentence and realises he hasn't got a clue how to finish it so pauses for 10 seconds before saying something banal.

Like the look of today's stage. I think we'll learn a lot.
