  • Damn, if I'd not been lazy this morning I could be top of the club leaderboard.

  • Project ride all the roads home 2013 is well underway

what a good idea. how do you get to overlay all the routes?

  • Strava multiple ride mapper

Thanks - quite a way to make local rides more interesting.

  • Anyone had Strava crash since it updated? Its been asking for ages to update and I'm typically skeptical of changing something that works well, and yeah as you can guess, let it finally update to current version and now it crashes the phone (turns off with no warning) at will.
Any way of reverting back to an older version?

  • yeah I have this, on android. Wish I hadn't updated. Glad it didn't stop me hitting cycling goal for April.

  • Are you incapable of hitting cycling goals without strava?

  • yeah, wish it would manage my whole life.

  • I think I may need to turn strava off for my commutes. I'm getting a fair way up the ranks.

I did manage a 'second' last week. Apparently I ramped up the pace from 15mph to 30mph halfway up a hill. At least it's not blatantly obvious that it fucked up.

  • Haven't done these in a while. I've been "working on" mine:

  • Boastpost

  • I haven't looked at Veloviewer in ages, it is handy for seeing your rides listed and so forth.

  • Boastpost

    Guilty as charged :0)

  • I no longer hold a single KOM, I'll have to do something about this.

  • There is May Massive challenge and the guy who is in at number 1 done 7435.2 miles in 12hr 44m, that's just in May. Seems legit.

  • I'm 50km behind you Dimitri, and Kaspar Ankar is spanking us both.

  • Hurry up, dammit. We are in at top 5. Who is Alister Harrison? Also, just checked the challenge again and it's all different. Weird.

  • Planning on riding tomorrow, day off today- lets see where we are on Sunday night.

  • Question: I have tried running Strava on airplane mode to save battery.

Has anybody else noticed that it doesn't bother calculating when you're static on airplane mode?

It's trying to claim that I averaged 12mph for my ride today which is impossible with my legs of steel.

  • How would you use strava on a mode that stops connectivity?

  • I no longer hold a single KOM, I'll have to do something about this.

Bought a brake, and got a KOM and 2 leader board spots in the first 15 miles of using it.

  • How would you use strava on a mode that stops connectivity?

GPS doesn't need connectivity. It writes GPS track to a file. When connectivity re-established Strava will upload the track. #magic

  • Hippy - how well does your work on aeroplane mode?

    Useful!
