giros are awesome.
I had two issues with the Giro: they had a seam and no padding between forefinger and thumb which made cycling in the hoods uncomfortable (although to be fair a lot of gloves I've used have had that problem) and secondly after wearing them for a bit the back of my hands came up in a massive rash.
That's down to me and my girl skin rather than the gloves however.
I'm forever on the hunt for decent mitts. My favourites so far are Specialized BG Gels, but the black ones made a massive mess of my white bar tape, so still searching. Was thinking of trying Mavic next

I got some "Capo" ones from Condor when I was in there the other day, they were the ones which fitted the best and also had the loops to enable easy removal, which I like.
Very comfortable, and no appreciable wear so far- although I've not had them long.
They are fabric, though, so this is useless information if you are set on leather gloves.

After the rash I'm off leather gloves, think it was that that set it off. Don't mind leather palms as they are usually backed with material. I'll go check those Capos out, ta

I think the idea is you match your mitts to the bar tape ;)

Then find me a good pair of mitts with white palms!

I have BG mitts (black palms) and no black marks on my white (Fizik) bar tape after 2 years of use.

Interesting: Fizik microtec? I have Eleganza and they have a tacky feel, while I used to have black microtec, which isn't tacky, and I was wondering whether that might make a different. Need to rewrap them anyways

Yeah, white Fizik microtec. It's not just summer BG mitts, I also use black full finger BG mitts in the colder seasons too.

Grippp Mitts or the Rapha tour mitts for my money.
Mainly because the Rapha mitts remind me of this album art
-
• #12262
i have the grippp mitts and like them but they're not the sturdiest of gloves.

I like the green version. It's nice, but...
-
• #12268
quite like the jeans though. but £180 can GTFO for something my saddle with actively try and wear through every time i wear them.
-
• #12269
£300. That's reasonable.

blaaaarg @ that jacket.
Better suited for a Dutch jockey (euph?)
-
• #12271
The white one is quite nice, orange is a bit nodder, green is just wrong

this probably isn't the right thread to ask in, but I assumed Rapha would make one of these but they don't. Where can I get a t-shirt, but with cycling pockets on the back, such as this
I don't want to buy a cycling jersey, I want a plain t-shirt, just with the functionality of a cycling jersey. There's the vulpine one, but the pocket doesn't look like it'd hold much
-
• #12273
If you look at the Vulpine jersey with the button neck instead of the round neck for some reason it has two bigger pockets in the back and a zipped horizontal pocket between them for your cash/phone, so maybe that has the cargo capacity you want?

Those jackets :-0
Reclaimed military parachute canopies!?

the Rapha and Raeburn may be utterly hideous but before you judge remember it has lightweight Riri zips.....
the XXL is sold out on Orange and Green....
