  • Visit a baker?
    Boots chemist?

Don't know of any actual bakers in whitechapel.. but boots could be worth a try, thanks!

Not sure stout is the most appropriate beer for the weather but meh, it's what's in the cupboard

  • Get it from a brewery.... Ask the guys at Beavertown, they're a nice bunch. Or at the Cock Tavern, I'm sure they'd sort you out.

  • ^ 'Wotever Next' should have been 'The Other', no?

They brew quite a range at the Talbot. This, That and T'other are the best known.

    Very good beer.

  • probably seen before...

  • On Friday night I enjoyed six glorious pints of Yeovil Ales POSH (port out, starboard home) IPA. My partner in crime endured six pints of Tricky Does It cider. The difference in states at the end of the night and the following morning were immeasurable.

  • Had a bottle of Norfolk Nog Friday night - damn that's nice.

Have since seen that you can buy the home brew Norfolk Nog kits and I'm tempted - how hard can it be?
