For Sale: 1994 Gitane Lo Pro Track 60cm – Columbus Gara / Superb Pro NJS / Ergostem - Bumblebee

I have a pretty sweet 1994 Gitane Pursuit track bike for sale

It has spent its life at the Stade Velodrome de Reims (France) which closed in 1997 and has been stored indoors ever since. It has seen minimum use and is in really good condition bar a couple of scuffs.

The tubing is Columbus Gara tubing. 60cm TT ctc / 60cm ST ctc so made for one of the tall kids!

Have a look at the pictures, the geometry is really tight and forks or rear bridge are not drilled for brakes. Track spacing: 100mm front, 120mm back.

The colour scheme is bumblebee black/yellow and all the stickers are removable

Here is the complete specification:

• Rims: Wolber Profil TX 622 in dark anodising - no braking surface (rare in this colour/condition).
  
• Hubs: Front Shimano 105 modified to take an axle. Rear is Mavic with a single sprocket carrier. 15T sprocket with Mavic lockring.
  
• Spokes: Stainless steel double butted.
  
• Tyres: Michelin Pro Race in yellow/black.
  
• Chainset: Suntour Superb Pro NJS 170mm 9/16 pedals with 50T Suntour Superb Pro NJS chainring. unbranded chainring bolts.
  
• BB: Shimano square taper, english thread
  
• ITM seatpost + Flite Saddle (scuffed from leaning against the wall)
  
• Shimano 105 Headset, english thread
  
• Look Ergostem
  
• 44cm ITM Grand Prix bars
  
• Look Delta pedals in grey which come with a UK10.5 pair of Decathlon shoes and cleats
  
• Cinelli tape in black/yellow which I will fit if need

The bike is ready to race / ride.

Price wise, I am after £500 ->SOLD for the complete bike – The bike is in Brixton and I will be happy to take to Herne Hill for people to see/try.

I think 6"1 is going to be a tad 'short' for this bike.

Best coming to try it for size, the Look Ergostem allows for a good range of reach.
