The maxed-out extendable headtube (?) on that Argon looks better than a spacer stack, but I feel like it should still be slammed.

^ I was wondering what all that was about.....
Here's the low down:
The 3D Headtube allows for three different head tube heights for a given frame size. The larger, structural spacers boost front-end stiffness- 3D accommodates the rider’s physique and riding style.
- More accurate steering (frameset’s inherent qualities remain unaffected, regardless of chosen position).
- Better stiffness than with standard spacers: +5% at 10mm, +11% at 20mm
So there you go - a one size fits all policy to minimise tooling costs dressed up as a selling feature.
- 3D accommodates the rider’s physique and riding style.

I've seen a few bikes with extendable headtubes before, but they tend to fall in to the 'serious sportif' bike bracket, as laughable as that is. Can't fault it for being stiffer than spacers, but it's still nothing on a frame that fits properly.
HHSB COMPETITION - show me an Affinity low-pro that doesn't look like dogshit. Winner gains my respect and nothing else.

Spacers, stubby stem with rise, bullhorns with drop, skinny steel forks against deep section carbon.
I guess my dislike of the frames is more about the top-tube angle more than anything else though. It's much too sharp, even on smaller frames. Combine that with the relatively slack head tube angle means they look like they've been crashed in to a wall.

AFAIK it was made by Casati - not sure what the point of it is....
The only purpose it serves is to make ncjlee's argos look sensible (if not comfortable)
